One of the world's foremost experts about Laetrile, Dr. Hans Nieper was a famous German physician who was born in Germany in 1928 and died in 1998. In his medical practice, Dr. Nieper specialized in the treatment of chronic diseases, in particular cancer, diabetes, heart disease and multiple sclerosis. Through his experience, he learned that only relying on pharmaceutical drugs to treat patients was only partially effective and in many cases toxic. As a result, he determined that providing the body with natural essential substances was a more effective approach for his patients.
Nieper was a contemporary of many prominent advocates of Laetrile, including Dr. Kanematsu Siguira and Ralph Moss from Sloan-Kettering. Dr. Nieper was world famous and during his career, he treated royalty from all over Europe, American Presidents, and famous Hollywood actors.
Nine of the 24 pages of this issue of the Cancer Control Journal contain articles written by Dr. Hans Nieper himself. Other articles include:
- Tumor Regression Through Glucose-Amygdalin Infusion and Intratumoral Application of B-Glucosidase
- Vitamin B17: Forbidden Weapon Against Cancer
- World Without Cancer
- The Laetrile Trip: From Science to Medico-Politics
